November Glossybox!

Hola people!

Admittedly, my November Glossybox review is late. However, my box arrived a lot later than expected so I obviously couldn't do the review with no products to show you! Haha.

So...Here we are! Novembers Glossybox! :)

When opening the box, this envelope was abundantly obvious. I discovered it was an invitational £20 gift voucher to join a site called Best Secret. Personally, the website isn't to my taste or affordability. And while I was slightly excited that I could buy something for £20, I was mistaken as it was only valid if you spent a minimum of £60! So...yeah. Not entirely impressed with that.

The products:

MONU Skincare Soothing Hawaii Facial Oil
Lollipops Makeup Eye Pencil
Burt's Bees Lip Shine
H2o+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment
Natural World
Coconut Water Hydration & Shine Weightless Hair Oil

Two products I love from Novembers Glossybox and will definitely buy again are Burt's Bees Lip Shine and the Natural World Coconut Water Hair Oil. The lip shine was my saviour seeing as I've been suffering from chapped and dry lips due to having a cold these past few weeks. It feels just like a lip gloss on your lips and while I'm not a big fan of lip gloss, it is amazing stuff. After just one time using it, it made my lips feel super soft and it started to combat the cracks.
The Natural World hair oil is pretty darn good too! I used it on the ends of my hair while it was damp and used the hairdryer as normal. It definitely did what it says on the bottle; leaves hair beautifully hydrated, soft and shiny.

I've yet to try the other 3 products, however if they're truly amazing, I'll more than likely do a blog post on their brilliance. :P

I hope you enjoyed reading this short Glossybox review!
Until next time, Rock On!

Claire's Accessories Christmas Jewellery Haul!

Hola people!

A short post for you today! As the title suggests, I went to Claire's Accessories lately and totally freaked out at the awesome Christmas jewellery they have in store. Also, I'm not sure if this deal is present in all Claire's stores but I got a deal which is 5 items for £3! WHOOP WHOOP!
If you haven't already guessed...jewellery is my kryptonite.
I have 3 large jewellery stands, 2 big jewellery boxes and 2 small ones. I can't help it! I'm just drawn to it!

Anyway...here's what I bought:

 So preeeeetty!
I previously bought a HUGE pair of proper Christmas bauble earrings last year in Claire's that I'd been after for a while and last year I also bought a Christmas Badge which is wonderfully festive in the colours Green and Red!
I believe they have both of these in store this year too.

I have to say, I've always loved Claire's Accessories. When I was 9 and first got into that punky/ gothic "I LOVE SKULLS" stage, Claire's was where I (and family) practically bought all of my jewellery. They used to have a huge section of beautiful punk and gothic items. It has dwindled significantly in recent years, but rest assured, if there is a gorgeous black piece with skulls on in there...i'll find it!

Seeing as I'm talking about Christmas jewellery, I thought I'd show some items I have from previous years. Some are from Primark and others from Asda! :)

If you happen to go into Claire's Accessories yourself this Christmas, let me know what you bought and if you bought the same as me! :)

Find me on Twitter

Until the next post...Rock on!

Christmas Tag!

*sings* It's the moooost won-der-ful tiiiiiiime, of the yeeeeeeear!

Hola people!

I was tagged, once again from the fabulous Louise over on LouiseBloggs to do a Christmas Tag! Thanks Louise! :D
It's without a doubt, the best time of year and I go CRAZY when the festivities start!
Although I absolutely love Halloween, the happiness and joy that Christmas brings will always be the best time of the year in my opinion.

So, lets begin the questions!

Q1. What are your favourite Christmas Movies?
A: I have so many! I'd say that pretty much all of them are much loved by a wide populace though.

White Christmas
The Grinch
The Santa Clause
Love Actually
The Holiday
Muppets Christmas Carol
The Nightmare Before Christmas!
See...too hard to just pick one. :P

Q2: Do you open your Christmas presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?

A: It's a tradition in my family to open one small present on Christmas Eve before we go to bed! Just so we can keep our excitement tamed a little! Haha
It started when my mum decided to let my brother do it when he was little as the excitement of it Christmas Day the next day was clearly too much to handle. Lol!
Now, my sister does it with her children too!
Other than that, we all open our presents on Christmas morning! I feel so sorry for those who have to wait until after dinner to open them. Torture I tell you!

Q3: Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

A: There are lots of memories that come to mind about Christmas (as there would be) but I think one of my most remembered memories is last year when my partner Scott and I spent our first Christmas together - not actually on the 25th but on the 20th instead. We couldn't see each other on the day as some of his family had come a long way to see him and his parents, so we agreed to have our own Christmas Day to ourselves and spend the 25th with our families. Despite being together as a couple for just 3 months, (though, we were friends for a long while before that) it was incredibly special and he bought me amazing gifts! Things that truly meant a lot to me.

A favourite childhood memory that I have is the year I got my bike. In 2005 I think it was(aged 10), I learnt to ride a bike! So, for that Christmas I desperately wanted a 'big girl's bike'. Specifically a purple and silver one with awesome gears that I'd seen in Toys R US when my mother mysteriously took me there to look at bikes... ;)
Come Christmas Day, I didn't open any present that looked like a bike, so as a kid, I thought Santa hadn't brought me one. However, when I was clearing up my shrredded wrapping paper, my mum told me there was one more present to open, but I could only have it if I managed to find it! I set off hunting the house only to finally see a long box behind the sofa...and it was my bike! Trust me, it sounds weird that I missed a huge box hiding behind the sofa, however the box wasn't very deep and the bike had to be assembled! Lol So, that answers that question ;)

Q4: Favourite festive food?

A: Besides a Roast Dinner (NOM NOM NOM) I love having sausage rolls at Christmas. I can fondly remember standing at the kitchen worktop with my mum, using a pastry brush to put milk onto the frozen sausage rolls and having them for breakfast whenever we want - alongside lots of nibbles!

Q5: Favourite Christmas Gift?

A: I've been so lucky every year to receive such amazing gifts. One of the best has to be a ring that my mum got me one year. Another would be a book on skulls that my sis got! It's so perfect for me! And a fab one from Scott would be my Heath Ledger filmcell display of him as The Joker. He's my favourite actor (I'll have you know, he was my favourite before his Joker role) and I adored him. Scott knows just how much I love him and so the filmcell display containing 10 filmcells from the actual film 'The Dark Knight' is amazing to me. I can not tell you how excited I was to be holding something so unique and personal to me! :)

Q6: Favourite Christmas scent?
A: Hmmmm. This may sound weird, but the smell of tinsel is a winner with me. Feel free to call me a weirdo as you'd be right ;)
I don't particularly like the smell of cinnamon which seems to be everywhere when Chrsitmas arrives! I also love the smell of baked sausage rolls at Christmas. As I mentioned before, they bring back fond memories and they taste great too!

Q7: Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
A: Apart from opening a small present each before we go to bed on Christmas Eve - I can't really think of any other traditions. The child in me, still likes to leave a glass of milk and a mince pie out as it's such a cute thing to do. Seeing as there are no little ones in my house, it can be a little boring without the excitement that children bring at Christmas. Only now, I'm aware that Scott (who's initials ALSO happen to be S.C! ;)) is the one who drinks the milk and has the mince pie. Piggy <3

Q8: What tops your tree?
A: Since I have been decorating the tree (and not my mum so much), we have a sparkly star on top! When I was younger and didn't dare step toward the tree when it was being decorated, my mum preferred an Angel on top. Usually one with a huge dress, big wings and would likely fall off 5 times a day. ;)

Q9: As a child what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
A: 1) A fez. Not a Turkish one, an Egyptian one (VERY important detail). I didn't get a fez for Christmas, but I got one when Scott and I became a couple. He proudly presented me with one when he came to my Sisters wedding. Awwww ;)
2) A dog! (Come on, what child doesn't ask for a dog?!)
3) Disney Monopoly. I didn't get this at the time, as it was too expensive for my mum to afford, which is ok, because I got many other amazing presents every year! :)

Q10: What is the best part about Christmas for you?
A: When all the family come together, whether it be on Christmas Day or near it. I love it! I love my niece and nephew dearly and all of us have a hilarious time when together. Also, one of my other favourite parts is buying presents for people and wrapping them! I love wrapping presents and making them look amazing!

Sooooo, that's my Christmas Tag!

I hope you enjoyed reading! And if you're a blogger yourself, give it a go, as it certainly makes you think and bring back many memories.

Makeup Revolution Haul!

Hola people!

Through recently discovering Makeup Revolution online at Superdrugs, I headed to their website and was amazed at the brilliant quality of their products and just how affordable they are. The have everything that is essential to your make-up bag and also many wonderful eye-shadow palettes and extras. So, here is my new Makeup Revolution Haul!
*picture heavy post coming up*

Products & Prices:

In order to qualify for Free Shipping, you have to buy £30 worth or more...so I did! I didn't originally intend to buy many things, but I got a little carried away once I saw all the fabulous items ;)

I'd seen many amazing reviews on the Give Them Nightmares palette and considering my love for dark things and purple being my favourite colour, I had to buy this! The cover is beautiful and the shades of eyeshadow are so beautifully gothic. When I look at the palette, it makes me think of Maleficent, as so many of the colours are key to her look. One of my favourite Disney characters and of course, a major hit this year with the new Angelina Jolie movie version. I think it's an essential to any makeup lovers bag.

I'm so over the moon that Makeup Revolution offer such wonderful lipsticks and only at £1 each! You so can't complain at that.
I bought two shades - Black Heart and Serpent. The names are self explanatory to the colours. I've always been a lipstick girl. I don't tend to like gloss very much as I find it...well, too glossy! LOL
These give your lips a very moisturised feel and last a long time on your lips. An all around perfect lipstick I'd say!

Now, a lip lacquer I've never tried. But THIS. Omg this! It's BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE IT! It goes on as a gloss and dries as a matte. It stayed on, literally for about 11 hours!! Not once did it smudge, or flake. SO impressed with it. I shall be buying many more of these in future. The shade is perfect too and has since become one of my favourite ones to use. I used to feel conscious wearing dark lipsticks (even though I love them) seeing as I have plumpish lips. But I think the colour looks very flattering! :P

This is the first time I've ever bought a Brow Kit. I've never been too keen on HD brows, so mine look quite minimal compared to most! Haha. But I thought, at £2.50, why not?! Bargain price and I can teach myself how to get more defined eyebrows. From what I've used of the powders, they're very light and the mini brush you get to apply it with is very handy, though I feel the bristles could do with being a lot thinner to get a more precise line.

Bronzer. Another thing I'm not overly obsessed about, but I didn't have one in my make-up bag so I got one. Despite it's dark-ish colour, it actually goes on quite lightly which is great seeing as I would only need a little for my fair-ish skin. It flips out, and has a lovely mirror and circular sponge in the back to keep it nice and compact :)

So, considering I'm into facepaint and creating fun looks with it, I took a look at The One Foundation from Makeup Revolution and thought, that shade 1 being pure white, could be a brilliant alternative to caking on the white facepaint when I'm facepainting. The bottle needs a good ol' shake before applying and does come out quite runny. However, it applies beautifully and gives you very good coverage! I've yet to try building it up with layers and other makeup or facepaint on top, but I can tell that it'll be easy to work with in future. Hell yeeeeeeah. They do 16 shades, so be sure to check out the range!

Now, the eye dust, I bought specifically for a winter themed look I'm hoping to do in December! Shhh, I didn't just tell you that. ;)
It's exactly what it says and looks like. A shimmer powder. Can't get more self explanatory than that! £1 a bottle and I can imagine, a little will go a long way! I've yet to try this also, but will of course be mentioning it again once I have.

And last, but certainly not least....the Defence Anti Bacterial Serum and Primer! This is lovely stuff. Applied just before putting makeup on, it primes your face ready to keep your makeup in place (ha! That rhymed!) and has done a brilliant job on me so far. It doesn't particulaly smell of anything, so you're all good there. I tend to find, face creams that have a strong smell make ones eyes water a lot. Not good when wanting flawless eye makeup ;) And a little goes a long way I find. I have noticed a difference on how my makeup stays on, being that it stays put! Seeing as my skin is dry in some areas and oily in others, this primer has helped both problems. It stops the oily-ness coming through (as does my makeup) but also hydrates those problematic dry patches. A must have primer for your makeup bag I reckon!

So...that's about it! I thoroughly enjoyed unwrapping these items within my parcel and can't wait to buy more new things from Makeup Revolution. If you've used any of these products, let me know what you cherished or despised. Don't forget, links to the exact products are in pink. Go click crazy!

Until the next post, Rock On!

Photoshoot Fun!

Hola people!

Well...I have a VERY exciting post to share. Saturday 15th Nov, I had the absolute AWESOME privilege of going along to a photo-shoot, organised by Unique Perceptions to facepaint someone as a...wait for it....a SKULL!! I know!? It couldn't have been any more appropriate for a skull lover such as me!

A little on how I was contacted....
In my area, there's a lot of positive work going on to help those who are isolated in their homes to be creative and get out into the community more. Creatabot Southeast, organised by Natasha Steer, helped me this year, by getting me involved with a CreataboX project. Whereby, I was sent lots of lovely arts and crafts to create and put into small dispense balls that would be distributed in a machine, and would be a lovely little gift for people who chose to buy one.
Through knowing Natasha, she contacted me with an opportunity to work with Stewart Perrin from Unique Perception Photography. An awesome, freelance photographer, who needed a volunteer to help achieve the photo-shoot he was creating.

We chatted and I got the details for what facepaint he was after and I was over the moon when he said he was after a Skull look. EXCELLENT!

So, come Saturday, I went along to a studio and met the wonderful Danny (the model) and got on with my work! I had previously practiced the facepaint on myself, to help refine my skills. I think it came in handy too! I was rather nervous as I'm not a professional, but I really wanted Stewart to be pleased with the look, so I did my best!

I'd love it if you went and checked out his pages! His work that I've seen, is amazing and I would love the chance to work with him again. It was a truly brilliant day! I had so much fun with them all, and also got to meet another great Photographer, Paul Wicks: Blind Luck Photography. I got to have my partner Scott with me too, who thoroughly enjoyed himself also ;)
Find them all here:

Below, I'll show some photo's I took myself, during the shoot and also, some favourites of Stewart's photo's that he kindly agreed to let me show on here!
Remember to click the pink links and check out these amazing people and their work!
Enjoy!

Superdrugs Haul!

Hola people!

Today, I've got a Superdrugs Haul to show you.
I'm a big fan of Superdrugs as they do all your essential beauty and toiletry bits and pieces and they're very affordable.
And, I've noticed that they have many 3 for 2 and Half Price offers. Woo woo!
**Links for the websites are in bold Pink**
I bought my items online and was very pleased and surprised when I noticed they offer free delivery on order over £10!

Items and Prices:
Makeup Revolution 144 Eyeshadow Collection = £10 was £20!
Zoella Eyes Makeup Bag = £8
Johnsons Makeup Be Gone Nourishing Wipes = £1.52 (half price)
Maybelline Master Graphic Eyeliner = £5.99
Makeup Revolution Lipstick: Vamp shade - 'Rebel with Cause' = £1
MUA Eyeshadow Palette - 'Undress Me Too' = £4

I comepletely forgot that I bought the MUA palette, so that's why it's not in the picture!

Makeup Revolution is a new discovery to me, but I think they're brilliant! They have a wonderful range and I couldn't believe how inexpensive they are when I mooched on their website. The above palette I got in Superdrugs was on sale from their Christmas Shop section online. The colours are beautiful, with a mixture of shimmery and matte effects. Plus, I'm not sure any picture could do the neon colours any justice. They are pure 80's funk!! :P

The Lipstick is beautiful. So smooth and it's a very "me" colour! :P
I do love a dark lippy! And at £1, you really can't complain!

Now, the eyeliner. I suck at eyeliner. I may put it on one day and think, yeah Bex! Lookin' gooood! But then...come later on in the day, (probably in different lighting) and I think, omg, why have the eyeliner goddesses NOT given me my eyeliner perfecting powers?! Hello?! Wouldn't go a miss this Christmas! ;)
This eyeliner though, I feel has whispered sweetly to me "Bex....it's ok....we're here to save yooooooou!" It has indeed helped me achieve a decent cat-eye look. I'm rather pleased with how light it goes on too. Give it a go! If you suck at eyeliner, like me, go and buy it and see what you think!

Zoella, I have followed for a while now. I love watching her daily Vlogs and fashion hauls, so I was excited when I saw she had launched her own products. While all the products aren't to my particular taste, I liked the look of one of the cosmetic bag. It does not disappoint! It's much bigger on the inside than expected (now I really want to call it Tardis-Bag LOL) and I think the print which is Zoe's eyes on the front is rather unique! I must admit, I do like the fact that it's NOT pink. Instead, it's a very calming minty colour, with coral polka dots!

I recently tried Johnson Make-up wipes about 4 months ago and they are brilliant! They felt a little greasy when I first used them, but now I'm used to it. The word greasy probably makes them sound disgusting, but it's the best I could come up with! Haha
They work brilliantly to remove make-up and they are so incredibly soft on your skin. Now, parts of my face tend to be quite oily, such as my 'T' zone. However my cheeks are always quite dry. These wipes have helped me combat both problems. Since using them each time I take off make-up, my skin has become so much smoother and less problematic in the areas I mentioned!

Now, I'll be honest. I haven't used my MUA palette yet...even though it's casually been sitting in my makeup bag for a GOOD month or so...
So, I can't give a review on it. BUT I can say that by looking at the colours, they're very beautiful. My mum has always been a lover of neutral and earthy shades, so I suspect I'll be trying these out on her too this Christmas :)

I'm so happy with these purchases that I'll likely be buying some of them again. The Zoella bag and the Makeup Revolution palette I can imagine will last me a good long while though. ;)

I hope you enjoyed my short and sweet review of these products! If you've tried any yourself, let me know if you loved them or hated them.

Don't forget, you can follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter where I share too many pictures of my cat and desperately want Steve Backshall to win Strictly!

Until the next post, Rock On!

Liebster Award: SECOND Tag!

Hola people!

So, I'm going to be greedy and do ANOTHER Liebster Award Tag! MWUAHAHAHA!
I was tagged by the lovely Mo, over on Everything Mo! Go check her out as from what I've read so far, her blog is awesome. :)

Questions are as follows!

Q1. How do you deal with stresses?
A: Ummm. I don't. Haha! I'm terrible when stressed. I get more spots, I cry too much, I get headaches! But, when faced with a lot of stress, that's normal I suppose. I tend to speak about my problems to my Boyfriend, Sister or Mum and their advice and support usually helps calm me down! Apart from that, I'll sit and watch Disney films or read, because they're two of my favourite ways to escape from reality. That is, until I cry over the death of a fictional character or still get pissed off (and cry AGAIN) that Mufasa died...no biggie... ;)

Q2: What is your favourite smell?
A: Ummmm. This is answer is probably a bit of a cop out, seeing as my favourite smells are my perfumes! Particularly Cerruti 1881, Avon Bond Girl 007, Christina Aguilera - Signature etc etc. I LOVE my perfumes and I have far too many. It doesn't help that even if the bottle looks pretty, I still want it! :P Other than that, the smell of fresh bread is always  winner with me. Y'know, when you walk into Morrisons and go to the Bakery? UGH. Total smellgasm. And this may sound weird, but the smell of tinsel. It reminds me of Christmas (obviously) and therefore I get really excited. :)

Q3: Any strange habits?
A: Hahaha, good question! Well, because of my hyper mobility, I can bend my fingers in maaany strange ways. Seeing as I have to click and crunch my fingers and joints in the mornings to get going, I guess you could say, that freaking people out with clicking them is probably a habit, and somewhat of a party trick! I also pick things up with my toes, (hyper mobility) so I get called monkey feet by my family :P
Another habit I suppose I could say, is screaming "OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS!" to almost everything. I can't help it! I love a lot of things! Hence being called Eclectic Bex! :D

Q4: What is your most loved possession?
A: Oh my god, what a question!? I have so many! D:
Aside from my photos (which I value a lot), I own a rag doll named Molly which I've had since I was about 6 months old (I think). She came everywhere with me when I was younger. I've lost her about 5 times, including twice at the hospital (so lucky I got her back each time!), plus my tormenting brother and sister used to put her in various places, out of my reach. Including, on top of the bird cage, hanging from the light fitting and in the oven (but it wasn't on THANK GOD). Cruel, cruel people.
Another possession that is most loved, is my Fez. This is the first gift I ever received from my boyfriend (we were just friends at the time). I'd wanted one for a long long time, and despite asking for one on various Christmases and Birthdays, I didn't get one until Scott came into my life. <3

Q5: Most loved Makeup?
A: Hmmmm. Probably my lipsticks. I don't have a favourite brand lipstick as such, but I do quite like a specific ModelCo one that I own. Colour: Dusk. And also, an 'Avon Irresistably Sexy Sultry Lip Pencil' - god, that's a mouthful. Colour: Promiscuous Plum. I don't particularly get on very well with lip gloss. I love the texture of lipstick and usually wear deep purple and burgundy colours. Plus, because my lips are quite plump, I think they look good when accentuated with a bit of lippy!

Q6: What was your first post about?
A: My first post was about me! Which you can view HERE!
I thought it made sense to write a little about myself for the first post, seeing as people who'd like to follow my blog, need to know a little about me! I hope whoever read it enjoyed it :)

Q7: What are you excited to blog about next?
A: More makeup and facepaint looks. I love creating and planning them out. I just have to get around to doing them! I plan on maybe having a YouTube channel soon, so that I can perhaps film my makeup/ facepaint process, but we shall see...

Q8: Favourite holiday (Christmas, Birthday etc) and why?
A: OOOOOOH. Christmas is my number one Holiday. I love everything about it. Family all together, the beautiful Christmas decorations, buying Christmas presents. Wrapping them! I luuuuurve wrapping presents. Christmas films and classic songs which get you excited for the festive season. Plus, I adore seeing the excited faces on children. Particularly my nieces and nephews, but when I'm out Christmas shopping, it's so sweet to see the little ones so amazed at the idea of Santa too! :) And in all honesty, that makes me excited for the future when I too have children, who I can get excited with and spend hours decorating the house with them!
I adore Halloween...but Christmas just tops it for me.

Q9: Big planner or last minute maker?
A: Hmmm. A bit of both maybe? When buying things and thinking about things to do, I absolutely HAVE to write lists. I'm a BIG list maker. So much so, that when approaching Christmas, I tend to write all the different lists for peoples presents, in the back, of EVERY notebook I get my hands on. Talk about making it easy for people to snoop!? Hahaha
Whereas, with outfits, I never know what I want to wear until last minute. Which makes packing to go on holiday or to my sisters, a real nightmare as I never know what to bloody pack. I can never decide what I feel like wearing until I either know what the weather is going to be like...or if I can be bothered to swap my PJ bottoms for jeans! :P

Q10: Favourite TV show/ Movie?
A: I had a feeling this question was going to be asked....
Being eclectic, I have tooooo manyyyyyyy!!

Favourite shows is a little easier to pick: Eastenders, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Buffy, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Vampire Diaries, Gotham (it's new but it's already a favourite), Game of Thrones.
Okay, so that was a longer list than anticipated.
Favourite films. I have so bloody many. And they're all different genres!
Here's a list of some:
The Dark Knight
Ever After
The Mummy (1999)
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The Lion King
Pocahontus
3 Men and a Baby
Face/Off
Chicago
A Little Princess
Moulin Rouge
Titanic
LOTR Trilogy
Les Miserable

I literally could go on and on. And I know it's easy to say "oh this is my favourite and this is my favourite!" but they truly all have a place in my heart!

Q11: What's your proudest moment so far?
A: I have two. Meeting and falling in love with Scott. Neither of us had the confidence to admit our feelings or each other for a while and so I'm glad that we finally went for it, and got together. <3
And the second is giving my sister away at her wedding last year. When she sat me down and asked me, I was so emotional and proud that she had chosen me! Normally, it's a fathers job, but seeing as not all fathers deserve that privilege, I was so honored that she asked me. We're very close and I'm glad I have that memory to keep forever. <3

That's it! New questions all done!
I hope you enjoyed reading my answers. I'm not going to tag anyone to continue this as I have done in my previous Liebster Tag, which you can see HERE!

Don't forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, to keep up to date with my posts!

Until the next post,

Rock on!

Liebster Award Q and A

Hola people!

I was nominated by the lovely Louise, over on LouiseBloggs to take part in the Liebster Award Q and A! From what I can gather, its a chain post of sorts, helping new bloggers get noticed! A very helpful thing for us newbies :)

Rules:
1. Answer the questions sent to you.
2)  Nominate 11 bloggers who have under 100 followers on Twitter
3)  Ask them 11 questions of your own.
4)  Notify them that you've nominated them.

Thank you Louise for my nomination! Here are my answers:

Q1: Which blog was the first blog you ever subscribed to?
A: As soon as I signed up to Blogger, I headed straight to Zoella and MelonLadyI followed their blogs just as a casual onlooker, but I've followed both of them on YouTube for a while and I adore their vlogs. I never knew just watching someone go about their day-to-day life could be so entertaining!

Q2: Which beauty item are you currently obsessing over?
A: Maybelline Master Graphic Eyeliner in Black. I purchased it from Superdrugs, (link Here). I've never been an eyeliner genius. In fact, many times I've despised trying to put it on.  But I've tried so many eyeliners in the past and this one has been brilliant in helping me achieve the cat-eye look I love. I'll likely do a proper review of it soon!

Q3: Where did you find your inspiration for your blog design?
A: As is probably quite obvious, I have quite a basic blog design, but the key thing for me when designing it was that I wanted it to reflect my personality. So, I picked my favourite colours: Purple, Black and White. I found the background damask print on Google images, and seeing as I've always loved that kind of pattern, it fit rather well! The only thing I wish I could add, is more funky skulls ;) I was nervous about making it look too professional, as basically...I don't know how. HA!

Q4: If you could interview anyone for your blog, who would you pick?
A: MadeYewLook by Lex. She. Is. AMAZING! As a person who's always been into facepaint and art, I was overjoyed when I discovered Lex on YouTube, a couple of years ago. I've always sat in my own room, doing my own make-up/facepaint looks, but I am always totally blown away by her talent. If I could interview her, it'd be very exciting! Though I'd probably embarrass myself with how awe-struck I would be. Nobody likes a suck up...except maybe a straw... ;)

Q5: Where do you look for inspiration when you are struggling with writers block?
A: I tend to take a break from what I'm trying to write. Chill for a bit, either reading or watching TV. Then I visit a few of my new favourite blogs, such as She Might Be Loved and Anchors Away Beauty (they've both been awesome inspiration for me whilst getting my blog going) and I take a look at how long or short their posts are, or if a certain layout they've used looks cool etc. And lastly, I remind myself to have fun when I'm writing!

Q6: Which make-up product is at the top of your Christmas list this year?
A: Mac Cosmetics Rocky Horror Picture Show collection.
Oh. My. GOD. Not only do I love the film, but the collection looks amazing and is an absolute must-have! My only qualm with Mac is how expensive they are. So, I'm not sure I'll be receiving the products from Santa anytime soon. Though, if my boyfriend really loved me (and didn't mind being broke for a while), he might take a look at the Rocky Horror Lipstick - shade 'Sin'. Your initials aren't S.C for nothing, Conchie ;)

Q7: Who is your fashion Inspiration?
A: I wouldn't say I have many fashion idols as such. I tend to look at other Plus-size bloggers and take notice of what clothes look good on them and compare what might look ok for my shape. Generally, my fashion tends to be whatever I want it to be. I stick to comfortable clothes and lean towards jeans more than skirts, and black tops rather than lot of different colours. Since setting up my blog though, I've been making more of an effort to take notice of the fashion trends ;)

Q8: If you could only own makeup from one brand, which would it be?
A: Either Makeup Revolution because they're a new discovery of mine and I think they're brilliant and super affordable. OR, MAC, because they're known as the best aaaand, I don't own ONE MAC product...which I'd like to change! Haha

Q9: What's your favourite blogging subject?
A: Though I've not done many posts as my blog is rather new...my favourite one was the Bex's Beastly Looks as I love creating looks using face-paint and showing people. I suspect that that will be my favourite blogging subject :)

Q10: Aside from blogging, what are your other hobbies?
A: Art & Crafts, practising makeup/ facepaint looks, chilling with all kinds of music, watching Disney films (among other genres too) but c'mon, Disney IS the best right? ;)
Of course, I love spending time with my boyfriend and family, if you can call that a hobby? Lol I quite like discovering new people and watching my favourite people on YouTube. Recently, I've been on a video binge, watching MadeYewLooks make-up creations. SHE'S AMAZING! As I've already said above... Seriously though. Check. Her. OUT!

Q11: If you weren't blogging, how would you be spending your free time?
A: Doing most things mentioned in the previous question! :)

Thank you once again Louise, for tagging me to do this challenge/Q&A.

Ok, so it may seem like I'm cheating seeing as I'm not going to tag 11 people. But in all honesty, I struggled to find many new bloggers who had UNDER 100 followers like myself (maybe I'm missing something?), so I'm tagging those I could find and if anyone else takes note of this post, feel free to do the challenge yourself and please tag me so I can read your answers! :)

I tag:
@justpoached
@Gabbslife
@shotsofsparkle
@GoldenBairn
@country_mousie

My questions to you are:
1. What was the first beauty product you ever bought?
2. What's your favourite time of year?
3. Favourite season?
4. If you could meet any famous person in the world, who would it be and why?
5. Spots or stripes?
6. Can you name 3 beauty products that are in your make-up bag, without looking?
7. Aside from blogging, what are your hobbies?
8. Tea or coffee?
9. Favourite beauty product and why?
10. What's the most expensive beauty product you've ever bought?
11. Why did you decide to start blogging?

I hope you enjoyed reading my answers. Until next time,

Rock on!
